Does it hurt? A: Normally the client does not feel any pain. Each case is different depending on your particular surgery. If the sensation becomes uncomfortable a topical spray may be applied.
How long do I have to wait after surgery to have the procedure done? A: We require a minimum of 3 to 5 months to pass after the date of your final surgery and/ or nipple reconstruction.
How long does the procedure take? A: It typically takes 1 1/2 to 2 hours. This includes layout and pigment mixing. The actual tattoo time is about 40 minutes for each side. Unilateral can take slightly longer due to pigment mixing to match the existing areola.
How long does it take for the tattoo area to heal? A: Usually it takes 2-3 weeks. Some slight scabbing or skin flaking will occur but is minimal.
How long will the tattoo last? A: The tattoo will last a lifetime. Some slight fading may occur after several to many years but it is minimal. Normally we try to tattoo the area lighter rather than darker, so a touch up visit may be required, remember we can always darken the area but an area can not be lighten, this is after tattoo is completed. So lighter is always better than darker.
Do you use sterile needles and equipment? A:YES!! All of our needles are single use and sterile. Ink is poured into disposable caps that are not reused.
Do you have private rooms where the procedure is done? A:YES!! The room where the procedure is done is private. We are in a very professional setting. B: You can bring one other person with you into the procedure with you. My wife is always present in the room to assist me in the procedure.
Can I use my insurance to pay for the procedure? A: At this time however we are not accepting insurance for the procedure. Cash, Credit, Venmo, Paypal or other preferred methods are acceptable.
